VMware vRealize Cloud Universal is Now Available for Cloud Services Providers

We are glad to announce that VMware vRealize Cloud Universal is generally available as of April 18, 2023, through VMware Cloud Partner Navigator. VMware vRealize Cloud Universal is a SaaS management suite that seamlessly brings together automation, operations, and log analytics capabilities to cloud services providers with a single license. Combining a host of VMware Aria products for automation, operations, log analytics, cost optimization, security, and compliance, this empowers IT teams to federate management across cloud deployments. With greater flexibility users can manage cloud environments as SaaS, with the added benefit of being able to manage on-prem as needed.

vRealize Cloud Universal, like other SaaS offerings provided by VMware, is provisioned and is subscription-enabled through VMware Cloud Partner Navigator, VMware’s multi-cloud unified service-delivery platform for Cloud Services Providers. Using Cloud Partner Navigator, they can provide their customer organizations with fully managed or self-managed monitoring services. This enables IT teams to seamlessly move and monitor workloads across deployments as per their evolving business demands, with a consistent operating model.

Cloud Management Challenges

Today, businesses are focusing more on: IT modernization, accelerated innovation, and digital transformation and are increasingly turning to cloud services providers to deliver optimal operations and management services. Managing large, complex heterogeneous and hybrid environments is always challenging and service providers need to continuously deliver on the SLAs to be competitive and to grow. Managing multiple deployments requires multiple management products/ tools and associated licenses which by itself becomes challenging to manage and keep track of the services/ license usage resulting in expenses.

Unified Monitoring

VMware vRealize Cloud Universal assists cloud services providers with a unified cloud management experience and delivers enterprise grade cloud monitoring and management services. With a single license that entitles the service provider to both SaaS and on-prem versions of VMware Aria products for automation, operations, log analytics, cost optimization, security and compliance relieves the user of managing multiple licenses and delivers the services as a package that can be published or offered to the end customers as needed. The SaaS management console offers federation of IT services using a SaaS-based catalog across multi-cloud endpoints.

Operational Consistency

vRealize Cloud Universal enables cloud services providers to monetize services without having to re-skill and re-tool and deliver a single consistent operating model to provision, optimize, and govern across complex multi-cloud environments.

Agile, Scalable and Efficient

Available as a service, vRealize Cloud Universal delivers reduced operational overhead, automatic updates, fixes and upgrades and faster access to new features and innovation. It offers the ability to manage subscription licenses, analyze usage and determine present and future subscription requirements to scale as needed with the pay-as-you-grow model.
