Application containerization is seeing an accelerated growth, mainly attributed by the flexibility and the ability of the technology to provide OOTB solutions for developers. Resulting in enhanced developer experience thus boosting business value.
The ability of the technology to cater to the growing need of business agility, lower costs and the requirement of a faster time-to-market has propelled large scale modernization of business-critical applications in recent years.
However, it doesn’t stop there. The modern applications market is expected to grow at an average reported rate of ~25% up to 2027. This adoption of container technologies by modern enterprises will be contributing to the growth curve.
VMware by Broadcom’s innovation first approach has always focused on helping our Cloud Service Provider partners enable and support their customer’s app modernization journey.
Today, we are happy to announce the general availability VMware Cloud Director Container Service Extension (CSE) version 4.2
