We are excited to announce that as of today, February 28, 2023, VMware Carbon Black Cloud™ is generally available for VMware Partner Connect Managed Service Providers (MSP) on Cloud Partner Navigator.
Via the MSP route to market, partners act as the 24/7 security operations center for their customers. With Carbon Black Cloud, partners can help customers detect, prevent, and respond to advanced cyber attacks.
Cloud Services Providers can use Carbon Black Cloud to stop an attack in its tracks. Partners can team up with Incident Responders to help customers recover from successful breaches.
VMware Carbon Black Cloud is a cloud native endpoint and workload protection platform (EPP and CWP) that combines the intelligent system hardening and behavioral prevention needed to keep emerging threats at bay, using a single lightweight agent and an easy-to-use console.
Carbon Black Cloud helps to reduce the risk of compromise by simplifying how you:
- Learn how your company’s assets are used and the risks they pose
- Prioritize which unplanned system changes warrant remediation
- Improve from untested policy to continuously verified posture
Carbon Black Cloud disrupts attacker behavior by making it easier to:
- Analyze billions of system events to understand normal in your environment
- Adapt prevention to prevent attacker abuse of legitimate tools
- Automate your investigation workflow to respond efficiently
All of this is unified into one console and one agent, so that customer infrastructure and partner information security teams have a single, shared source of truth to improve security together.
With this new offering, partners can expand their portfolio with the VMware Carbon Black Cloud security products Carbon Black Cloud Endpoint, Carbon Black Workload, and Carbon Black Cloud Container. Partners can use the configurator in Cloud Partner Navigator to automatically manage Carbon Black Cloud subscriptions. (Create new subscriptions, add-on new products or upgrade subscriptions).
